Altius offers the USA Junior Olympic Competition program for girls in levels 3 through 10, as well as Prep Optional and boys levels 4 - 6. Girls and boys ages 6 and up are invited to join the team groups upon showing skill readiness. Altius team program coaches are USA Gymnastics Safety Certified, and Medic First Aid & CPR certified. Coaches are trained through attendance at USA Gymnastics Congress, Regional Congress and Altius in-gym training sessions. Altius is also a member of the USA Elite Coaches Association and Video Club, which provides coach's training through numerous video tapes each year. Our coaches are a very enthusiastic group who enjoy guiding each gymnast with their gymnastic and personal development.
The Girls Level 4-6 team members concluded their fall season with the State meet on Dec. 1-2 at the WI Dells Sports Center. All of the girls have shown great improvement since Sept. when the season began. The coaches are very proud of all of their accomplishments and wonderful attitudes and effort.
Many of the Level 4, 5, 6 and 8 girls team members competed in the Chicago Style Meet held at Navy Pier in Feb. Over 4,000 girls competed in the largest gymnastics meet in the world. Many medals were earned, goals achieved and new routines tried. Parents and gymnasts had a great time in Chicago!

All of the Girls and Boys teams are busy this summer preparing for their upcoming seasons in Fall '08 and Winter '09.
The next Altius home meet is the Harvest Classic on Oct. 4-5. Girls Levels 3-6 and Prep Optional will be invited to compete.
