School Year Registration Schedule

  • Altius runs a flexible, monthly program from September through June.
    After a child is enrolled (during the school year), we assume that the child will continue in the program until the first week of June. During this time you may change class times, and/or your child may be promoted to the next level. Promotions are handled on an individual basis.  A certificate, level ribbon and promotion letter are sent by mail to the student.  Changes are easily handled in person or by phone. (See the policies for additional details).
  • Tuition is a monthly fee based upon 4 classes in a cycle.
    Classes meet once a week.
    There is a second class discount of 20%.
    There is a 10% discount off the class fee for each additional child.
  • Refund / Cancellation Policy
    Altius issues tuition refunds in the case of extended illness or injury lasting more than 2 weeks with a doctor's note. Refunds are issued in the form of account credit, check, or directly refunded to your credit card account. Please allow up to 2 weeks for Altius to process your refund. Please follow our withdrawing from class procedure listed below. Altius does not issue refunds for reasons other than illness or injury. There are no refunds or credits for weather cancellations.
  • Withdrawing from Class
    A class spot is held for your child while they are officially enrolled. Altius assumes that once you have enrolled, your child will attend through the school year until the first week of June. If you would like to withdraw from the program before the last class, you may do so by following the procedure listed below:
    1. Notification of withdrawal for the upcoming billing cycle is required on or before the 20th of the current month.
    2. A parent must notify the office in person, via phone or through the online customer portal.
    3. The final class date is the last date in the current month's billing cycle, not necessarily the last calendar date.
    4. Withdrawal from the program is not retroactive at any time, for any reason.
    5. Drops received from the 21st - 31st will be honored, minus a 25% class tuition charge.
    Students who have paid the annual membership fee may re-join the program at any time throughout the year (September - August) as long as there is a spot available in the class. All students are automatically withdrawn from their class as of the first week of June. Summer is a separate "session" and is registered for separately in the spring.
  • In May or June (last week of classes) the students participate in the Altius Achievement Expo Days. 
    All gymnasts demonstrate routines and skills learned in class for family and friends.  Each gymnast receives a commemorative trophy.

Summer 2012 Registration

  • Our 2011 Summer session runs 10 weeks from June 11th to August 23rd. No Class July 1st-7th.
    Registrations are accepted by phone with a credit card or in person with cash, check or charge. Build your own schedule! Register and pay for only the weeks you can attend. Choose from one or two days per week. Weeks attended may be non-consecutive.
  • Tuition is pro-rated based on the number of weeks that you plan to attend.
    There is a sibling discount of 10% off the lesser class fee and a 20% discount off any second class fee.
    Registration fee: $12/individual, $18/family if not enrolled since 9/11.
  • Payment options
    Pay in full at registration or pay half, with the other half due 6/30.
    Get 20% off when you register and pay in full for 10 weeks by March 20th.
    Get 12% off when you register and pay in full for 10 weeks by May 12th.

Privacy Policy

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
Altius is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to process your payment.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

  • See what data we have about you, if any.
  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you.
  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

In order to register online through website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest.

Online Registration FAQ

1. Do I have to pay with a credit card?

To complete the registration process online, you do need to provide a credit card number. Upon receipt of your registration, our office staff will review your enrollment, apply any tuition discounts, add our annual registration fee to your balance, and then process your payment on the credit card provided.

2. How can I pay with cash or check?

Please stop in at Altius during our office hours. A staff member will enroll you in the appropriate class and calculate your initial tuition amount. Payment is required at the time of registration to hold a space in the class.

3. I received my payment confirmation email, what is the extra $30 fee?

This is our regular annual membership fee of $30 per student, or $45 per family. It renews every September and is good through August 31, 2012.

4. I already signed up for a class, but our schedule has changed. How can I change classes?

Through the "I want to..." drop down menu at the top of the portal, please select "contact the office." You can then send our office a message requesting the class change. We will process your request or contact you if the class is full to make other arrangements. 

5. How do I register for an event (Parents' Night Out or Camp)?

Through the "I want to..." drop down menu at the top of the portal, please select "register for an event." In the comments section, please provide us with the name and date of the event, and the names of the children that you wish to register. We will enroll them and process payment using the credit card listed on your account. To pay by cash or check visit us during office hours. Payment is due at the time of registration to hold a place for the event.

6. How do I register for a Birthday Party?

Visit our events calendar at http://app.jackrabbitclass.com/eventcalendar.asp?orgid=508153. Select an available weekend date and time and fill out the registration form. A $25 deposit is due at time of booking to hold the date.

7. How do I sign up for automatic payments or change my billing preferences?

To have your tuition automatically charged to your credit card on the 15th of the month, please enter your credit card information under billing information. Then use the "I want to...Contact/Staff" drop down menu to request that we autocharge your account. There is no way to set this preference yourself.

Statements for the 11-12 School Year will be e-mailed to the address you have provided. If you would prefer to receive statements in the mail, please contact Altius directly in person or by phone, or use the "I want to..." drop down menu and select "Contact Staff/Send E-mail" to make a request.

8. What should I do if I have not received any e-mails from Altius?

Check your spam or junk mail filter. All mail from our online registration system has an @altiusgym.com extension. If you do not locate anything, please contact our office.
