Kindergym

Fun

Altius Kindergym Classes teach children to associate fitness with fun. Theme-based lesson plans infuse traditional gymnastics skills with imagination and creativity; walking across the balance beam becomes crossing a bridge over alligators!

Challenging

Our goal is to keep your children excited about fitness. Event circuits and stations are designed to challenge even seasoned veterans of the Kindergym Program. Class age divisions ensure a learning environment that is geared towards the appropraite developmental stage.

Relevant

Children gain a foundation of physical, cognitive, and emotional skills necessary for success in athletics and academics. Lesson plans reinforce shapes, colors, numbers, and directions. Balance and integrated motor activities develop reading-readiness skills.

School Age Gymnastics

Progressive

Gymnastics classes at Altius are based on USA Gymnastics curriculum. Coaches teach fundamental skills and concepts on all Olympic events using a step-by-step approach. Multiple training stations, trampolines, and pits ensure a safe, progressive environment.

Personal

Classes are divided by both skill level and age to create a more personal experience for our students. Girls ages 6 - 10 move through classes 1 - 4 and benefit from fast-paced instruction, while gymnasts ages 9 & up can thrive with in-depth skill work in our Novice - Advanced classes. Small class sizes allow coaches to handle mutiple levels in one group.

Accomplishment

Students develop strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and confidence as they master new skills. Our curriculum fosters a sense of accomplishment in every child by breaking down skills into acheivable class levels.
